Sportfishing in the Lowcountry

The waters of Hilton Head Island and the Lowcountry offer some of the greatest sportfishing opportunities on the east coast. The expansive estuary systems of Port Royal and Calibogue Sounds play host to many migratory species of gamefish including tarpon, cobia, bull redfish, and more than a dozen varieties of shark.

Just off our beaches numerous ship wrecks and artificial reefs attract countless species of drag burning predators including king mackerel, amberjack, cobia and barracuda to name a few. Further offshore natural live bottom areas and limestone outcroppings set the stage for some of the best bottom fishing for grouper, snapper, triggerfish, and black sea bass that you’ll find anywhere.

For the ultimate big game fishing experience few things compare to a trip to the cobalt blue waters of the Gulf Stream for wahoo, tuna, dolphin, blue and white marlin, and sailfish.

From the sounds, to the wrecks, to the offshore reefs and Gulf Stream waters Hilton Head Sportfishing Charters specializes in giving anglers of all experience level the trip of a lifetime!
